Durante o mês de junho, em todo o Brasil, são realizadas as festas juninas em comemoração aos santos católicos populares: Santo Antônio (dia 13), São João (24) e São Pedro (29).
Em alguns países, há também a tradição de festas juninas, embora de formas diferentes. Aqui, os quitutes são destaque e todos os brasileiros aguardam essas festividades para consumi-los.

Brazilian banana sweet: creamy dessert made with banana cooked in sugar, and seasoned with cinnamon.
Sweet corn cake: cake made with cornmeal and corn (sometimes, condensed milk too).
Hot dog: it is the same served in other countries in the world, but in Brazil it can be include mashed potato and other ingredients.
Hominy and coconut pudding: candy made with dry hominy cooked in milk, coconut milk or condensed milk, sugar, and seasoned with cinnamon (almost like rice pudding).
Brazilian coconut candy: soft pieces of candy made with coconut, condensed milk and eggs.
Candy apple (USA), or toffee apple (UK): apple covered in a hard sugar candy.
Corn in the cob: corn cooked in water, served with butter and salt.
Paçoca: candy made with peanuts, cassava flour, sugar, and salt, pressed together.
Brazilian corn pudding: creamy dessert made with corn, milk, sugar, butter and cinnamon.
Peanut brittle, or peanut chikki: flat pieces of hard sugar candy mixed with peanuts.
Sweet popcorn, or caramel popcorn: popcorn covered with caramel.
Brazilian grog: hot drink made with cachaça or wine, ginger, orange, sugar, clove and cinnamon.
Brazilian coconut egg custard: baked dessert made with sugar, egg yolk, and coconut.
Tapioca pearls in red wine, or red wine tapioca pudding: starch extracted from palms, cooked in water, red wine, and sugar.
Mulled wine: hot drink with red wine mixed with spices like cinnamon, and fruits.
